Deutsche Postbank invited Generation to assist with this site which had been acquired by clients as an office redevelopment opportunity which subsequently became an uneconomic proposition.
Generation were able to identify the potential of the site to provide purpose built student accommodation and were appointed as development consultants by the owner’s asset manager.
Generation assembled and directed the project team leading to a planning consent for a new build scheme of 246 student units that was obtained in September 2006.
Subsequently, Generation structured a forward purchase of the completed development by University Properties Ltd.
