Adjacent to the Grand Union Canal in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, the site was acquired by Generation Estates in joint venture with The Blackstone Group from Workspace Group.
Planning consent was obtained for a new six storey residence in September 2009. Construction commenced in January 2010 and the scheme was completed in July 2011 in good time for the start of the 2011/12 academic year. The project also included 6,760 square feet of new commercial accomodation for Workspace Group.
This residence accommodates 277 students in a range of room types including 199 single studios, 6 accessible studios, 10 twin studios and 62 bed spaces twin apartments.
Communal spaces include lounge, internet/study space, games space, laundry and gym.
